Chandigarh University and EY India Forge Landmark Partnership to Revolutionize Management Education through 10 Professional Certifications
Chandigarh University has signed a landmark MoU with Big 4 firm EY India to integrate 10 professional certifications into its MBA and BBA Flagship Programs. This collaboration bridges the academia-industry gap by offering hands-on training in AI, Data Analytics, and Financial Advisory, providing students a double learning advantage to excel as future leaders in the global business landscape.
The high-profile MoU signing ceremony at Chandigarh University was attended by a distinguished assembly of leaders, including Anand Akhouri, Director, EY India; Prof (Dr) Devinder Singh, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration); Prof (Dr) Raghuveer VR, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs); Prof (Dr) SS Sehgal, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Registrar; and Prof (Dr) Nilesh Arora, Executive Director, Management, Chandigarh University. Under the terms of this collaboration, students enrolled in the MBA Flagship and BBA Flagship Programs will obtain exclusive access to ten specialized EY certificate courses. These courses are meticulously designed across high-impact technical and analytical domains, specifically Marketing Analytics, AI & ML in Python, Financial Analytics, Business Intelligence using Power BI, Business Analytics, Human Resource Analytics, Predictive Modelling in Python, Supply Chain Analytics, Data Analysis using R, and Exploratory Analytics in Python.
Anand Akhouri, Director, EY India, emphasized that this collaboration opens a broad spectrum of opportunities, allowing Chandigarh University students to upskill with the latest tools and technologies. He noted that the initiative provides business management students a unique platform to master the technological advancements currently shaping the corporate world. Deepinder Singh Sandhu, Senior Managing Director, Chandigarh University, characterized the MoU as a major milestone in aligning academic pursuits with real-world industry requirements. He stated that the initiative aims to develop a future-ready talent pool equipped with advanced capabilities in analytics, consulting, finance, marketing, human resources, and technology. By facilitating exposure to cutting-edge areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Financial Advisory, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, and Business Consulting, the university ensures its students remain aligned with evolving global demands.
Further detailing the impact of the partnership, Deepinder Singh Sandhu remarked that the integration of EY India’s industry-recognized certifications provides a distinct "double learning advantage," enabling students to simultaneously earn their degree and professional credentials.
